Located on beautiful Vancouver Island, Blueprint Events is owned and operated by Lexie Boekenrkuger. As one of Nanaimo’s event professionals, Lexie has developed a reputation for designing and planning a wide range of stunning and sophisticated events up and down the Island. To each event Lexie brings easy solutions, creative one-of-a-kind touches and boundless energy . Known for her incredible attention to detail and highly organized approach to planning, along with her creativity and professionalism, she has a flair for creating unforgettable events. Through education and experience she has gained cutting edge knowledge of the industry and developed invaluable relationships with numerous vendors and clients.

After graduating from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Lexie’s career began in the hustle and bustle of Vancouver’s construction Industry. With a background in Architecture, Construction and hospitality, but feeling creatively unfulfilled, she decided to make the transition into something she loved – Event Planning.

As a hobby, over the years she’s planned and coordinated numerous events including weddings, conferences, holiday parties, annual meetings, dinner parties and community events . While this experience was essential in shaping her style as a planner, in 2007 she decided to formalize her training with a Certificate in Event Management at Vancouver Island University. This alongside Lexie’s background in architecture, design and hospitality, is the perfect combination of skills to make your wedding or event an unforgettable experience.
